Re-thinking Ureteroscopy - the best of both worlds

This project was developed by Frank Detering (Synapsis Design GmbH) for RICHARD WOLF in 2020.‍

RICHARD WOLF is a worldwide specialist in endoscopic stone therapy.

Due to the firm shaft and the extremely flexible tip, the D-URS can be used to treat stones by laser, both in the ureters and in the renal calices.

The distal LED illumination and high-resolution C-MOS sensor provide the image of the working field. Laser cutting, as well as material removal, is possible via 2 working channels. The ergonomic handle design allows the tip to be optimally manoeuvred in different hand positions, even over a long operating time.
